Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef, 80/20
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper
- Use your hands or a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients until they're just combined
- Do not overmix the meat mixture, as this can make the meatloaves dense and tough
- Use your hands to shape the meat mixture into 6-8 mini meatloaves, depending on the size you prefer
- Place the mini meatloaves on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each one
- Drizzle the tops of the meatloaves with the BBQ sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese
- Bake the meatloaves in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until they're cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly
